This vase could be a pickle jar in that the glaze is a pickle green.  It measures 8 inches tall by 6 inches wide.  If not pickles, maybe flowers.

 This vase is unique in that the glaze is clear so that pattern that is shown is that of the clays that are used; black and white in this case.  It measures 7 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
